An exclusive advantage of using BiTS via glimble is the ability to reserve a bicycle before reaching the docking station. When you reserve a bike, it is locked for your use and cannot be taken by others. From the moment you start the reservation, time is counted as actual usage — you pay as if you’re already using the bike, even if you haven’t unlocked it yet.
If you cancel the reservation, the time booked up to that point will still be charged. If you unlock the bike and start riding, the payment continues seamlessly from the reservation start time, not from the unlocking moment. This ensures the bike will be available when you arrive at the docking station.
Please note that bike rentals are personal: you can only rent one bike at a time, linked to your profile.
